Welcome to Registration for Spring 2010

Registration has changed! Please read below before attempting to register!

New Player USLacrosse memberships: Since some teams will be full when you register, we ask that you wait to sign up for your USLacrosse membership until you are assigned to a team.  When asked for the number, please enter 00000  this will allow you to register for the team or waiting list.  When you are assigned to a team, you will then need to get your USL membership and you will be required to show the coach proof of membership before attending practices or games. 

Seminole Lacrosse Club registration fees will now be paid by check only. Please make checks payable to SLC for 125.00 for A and AA play and mail to 463 Timber Ridge Drive Longwood, FL 32779.  Coaches will not accept checks, they must be mailed and recieved within 7 days of registration. Chumash fees are listed below.

All players will complete the registration online and hit "send a check" at the end.You will need to choose a division and a team. Please update all information as to grade and age, cell phone numbers and then mail your check to ensure your players spot. Returned check fee is 40.00.

  Please remember, the uniform your player is given for the fall season will be used for both the fall and spring season. Lost uniforms will be replaced for a fee.

The season will begin on Saturday March 6, 2010 and close the first week of May.  Coaches will not contact players until after the coaches meeting held in mid to late February.

 Teams that practice at Seminole county schools or parks for the Spring of 2010 may be assessed a fee to practice at that location.  The league has not built in these fees to the registration because this may not be county wide, so each team will be responsible for this extra fee.

Teams are limited to 24 players. Register early.

 Games will be held at Sylvan Lake Park and Central Winds Park.  

 US Lacrosse memberships :  New players wanting to get on a waiting list without paying the USL membership until placed on a team can enter 00000 and then show the card to the coach after being assigned. Memberships to USL can be obtained by logging on to   www.Lacrosse.org

New Chumash is 75.00 Returning Chumash players that do not need any equipment or pinnie  35.00 

Refund Policy: Pro-rated refunds during the season are at the discretion of the league. The cost of uniforms will not be refunded after uniforms have been issued. No refunds will be given for the U S Lacrosse membership.

History and Mission:

Seminole Lacrosse Club began in the fall of 1998 with 4 boys teams.  The purpose was to provide middle school age players the opportunity to learn to play the great game of lacrosse. Each season the league has grown to now over 400 participants. This growth has resulted from the efforts of a large group of dedicated high school coaches, players and parents (who act as head coaches, assistant coaches and referees).

We strive to not only to teach the fundamentals of the game of Lacrosse but to teach each player to "honor the game". Since its Native American origins, sportmanship has been a tradition in the game of Lacrosse.  Our organization has adopted the recommendations of the National US Lacrosse Organization. We do not keep score in games, there are no league standing and our end of the season celebration is in the form of a Jamboree.  Every player recieves a participation trophy.
